Q: Suppose I can’t afford a lawyer?

A.  There are many agencies, groups, and individual lawyers who may be willing and able to represent you or assist you even if you cannot afford a lawyer. 

Q: Are all lawyers trial lawyers?

A.  No.  Some lawyers do not handle trials or other courtroom work, but concentrate on transacationsl work, such as preparing wills, handling reral estate closings, or drafting contracts.

Q: Must I have a written contract with a contractor before I can sue him for failing to honor his contract?

A.  No, but it is much easier to prove what your contract was if you have a written contract to show what was agreed to.
